23 Dec Holiday checklist from your dentist
It seems like everyone is making their holiday lists, and checking them twice. We know everyone is short on time, so we have created a list of several healthy reminders for this holiday season.
- Schedule any treatment you might need prior to the end of the year. Most Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) have a “use it or lose it” policy. Check with your insurance company to find your FSA balance and use it. Why lose that money?
- Purchase a lower-cost electric toothbrush for your travel kit. They work better than a conventional toothbrush and make a great stocking stuffer. While you’re at it, don’t forget to purchase travel-sized toothpaste to save on packing space. Every little bit helps!
- Try to limit your sugar intake at holiday get-togethers. If you can’t resist the temptation of holiday sweets, be sure to drink water and be extra diligent with your oral hygiene to keep those pearly whiles gleaming.
- Perhaps it’s Murphy’s Law, but it seems that accidents and unforeseen maladies always seem to happen over the holidays. Remember that we offer emergency care if the situation arises. During this holiday season our office will be open Dec. 22nd, 23rd, 29th, and 30th. Our regular hours begin on January 2nd.
Have a wonderful and healthy holiday season!
Keep Shining!
